Guided Sunrise Ski Touring in the Arlberg region

At the Arlberg, before everybody is awake.

Before the first lift turns a wheel, you're already moving, skins on, headlamp on, climbing into the dark toward a specific point on the mountain chosen for one thing: the view when the sun comes up.

Guided by Nina Gigele, this is proper ski touring, not resort skiing. You start early, well before dawn, and skin up beyond the lift network into the backcountry, at a pace built around the group and the conditions of the day. At the top, you stop, not to rush the descent, but to actually watch the sunrise happen, with a short break to take it in before the light changes everything.

Then you ski down. Untouched snow, quiet slopes, and a descent finished before the resort even opens for the day, the mountain experienced in a way almost nobody else gets to.
