Night Torchlight Hike to a Hut

We hike together in the dark, 30 to 45 minutes, sometimes up to an hour, torchlight leading the way. It's quiet, a little disorienting at first, and then something shifts: your senses sharpen, the noise in your head goes down, and the mountain feels completely different than it does in daylight.

At the hut, dinner is arranged and waiting. From there, it's up to you, settle in for the evening, or keep walking a little further into the dark. Either way, this isn't a hike you do to get somewhere. It's one you do to notice something.
