Unique Grand Canyon River Expedition

Sixteen days. 188 miles. No phone, no Wi-Fi, no noise, just the Colorado River, ancient rock, and a small group moving through one of the most remote places in the world.

Curated by Nina Gigele, organised by my partner in Flagstaff, this expedition runs the classic full-canyon route from Lee's Ferry to Whitmore Wash, guided by licensed professional river guides. You'll run legendary rapids, House Rock, Crystal, Upset among them, hike into side canyons most visitors never see, including the Nankoweap Granaries, Deer Creek Falls, and the Little Colorado River, and camp each night on remote sandy beaches under skies with zero light pollution.

This isn't a scenic float. It's a real wilderness expedition, sharing camp duties, cooking together, hiking hidden trails, and living at the river's pace for over two weeks. Nina joins the group for the full expedition, having done this trip herself and describing it as one of the most transformative experiences of her life.
